® TRIP INFORMATION:

Timeline & Important Dates

  • Aug 18: Student Room Sign-Ups Begin
  • Aug 25: Student Room Lists Due
  • Sept 2: Optional Fall Update Meeting (7pm, AHS Band Hall)
  • Sept 8: Flights assigned based on room lists
  • Sept 11-14: Tournament of Roses Presidential Visit
  • Oct 28: Required Trip Meeting (7pm, AHS Performing Arts Center)
  • Dec 2: Chaperone Meeting (7pm, AHS Band Hall)
  • Dec 19: Luggage, Equipment/Instrument, & Uniform Packing (After School, AHS Band Hall)
  • Dec 22: Backup Date for Equipment Packing (If State Football Game)
  • Dec 28-Jan 2: Tournament of Roses Travel Dates
    • Dec 28: Travel, Rehearsal, TBA activity
    • Dec 29: Disneyland Day & Parade
      • There are two parades scheduled. We do not know what parade we are marching at this time.
      • GENIE passes will not be permitted; please do not ask.
    • Dec 30: Photo @ Rose Bowl, Band Fest Performance, Rose Parade Band Social
      • There are two performance blocks scheduled on this date. We do not know which Band Fest block we will be performing at this time.
    • Dec 31: Universal Studios Day & Texas New Year's Eve celebration (CST)
      • We will leave Universal Studio before the EVE event begins
      • New Year's celebration will be a students only event at the student hotel
    • Jan 1: ROSE PARADE DAY, packing (with replays of the parade on screens), Celebration Dinner
    • Jan 2: Travel Home
  • Jan 5: Truck Unloading at AHS (get your equipment and luggage)

 

NOTE: All chaperones have been selected; please do not ask about being a chaperone.

Student Flight Information

  • Flights will be assigned by September 8th.

  • All students will meet at AHS on the departure day (12/28). We will take buses to DFW together. Students must be picked up at DFW on arrival on 1/2/26 - WE WILL NOT RETURN TO AHS.

  • For planning purposes, below is a list of all the flights the students may be assigned (LAX - Los Angeles International Airport; ONT - Ontario (CA) International Airport)

  3. Mail payment to the following: Allen High School Band, 300 Rivercrest Blvd, Allen, TX 75002, attn: Susan Fulk
Make checks payable to: ALLEN ISD. All checks require a valid driver license number.

*** Students whose payments are not received within seven days of the due date will be removed from the trip and will be subject to the cancellation policy.***

JANUARY INFORMATION:
  1. Print, complete, and submit the Trip Agreement Form by Jan 7, 2025
    1. AHS/LFC students should submit the form in the AHS Band Safe
    2. 8th Grade students should submit to their band director (an AHS director will pick-up forms)
  2. Complete the Information Form by Jan 7, 2025
  3. Submit the $300 Non-Refundable Deposit by Jan 7, 2025 through one of the following ways:
    1. Pay on School Pay
    2. Drop payment of  in the AHS Band Office Safe
    3. Mail payment to the following: Allen High School Band, 300 Rivercrest Blvd, Allen, TX  75002, attn: Susan Fulk
      1. Make checks payable to: ALLEN ISD. All checks require a valid driver license number.
  4. Optional Insurance (for student trip):
    1. Families can choose any travel insurance you want
    2. Perform America-Texas recommends the following third party insurance: CLICK HERE
    3. CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) is only a viable option within 14 days of your initial deposit (Jan 7, 2025 is the deposit date).

Register for the 2026 Tournament of Roses Friends & Family (F&F) Trip
  1. The itinerary and payments are set by Perform America-Texas.
  2. F&F packages do not include airfare or airport transportation.
  3. F&F packages include all of the same events as the student trip, but will stay at a different hotel.
  4. F&F packages include grandstand seating.
  5. Optional insurance is available - click the F&F Instruction & Registration below.
