Good afternoon ABBA Members,
I hope this email finds you in good spirits.
Thank you to everyone that was able to make it out to the 2nd Annual Eagle Fan Fest! It was a great night and the boosters were able to collect a little over $1500 in donations! This will go to fund the band and colorguard programs in a variety of ways.

). This year ABBA will be offering Band Students and family's the opportunity to purchase a Chick-Fil-A dinner before Premier Night's call time. For $5 you can purchase a Chic-fil-A sandwich and bottle of water. We will also have chips available to purchase for $1. We would like to get an idea of how many students will be purchasing a dinner to ensure we have enough on hand. You can find the form at

We are in need of some volunteers to serve on different ABBA committees. Most of these committees require a small amount of time weekly, monthly or seasonally. Please consider serving on one of these committees. It's a great way to support the band and colorguard programs and meet new people. Please view these opportunities at

Band camp is in full swing and school is about to start. ABBA was delighted to fund leadership training for all our SLT, Drum Majors and Colorguard Captains. The 3 days before camp started SLT participated in a student leadership program by SASI. Drum Majors attend a leadership camp at UNT earlier in the summer and Colorguard Captains attended a a leadership camp at UTA.
