The Tallenette Field Uniform consists of the following parts:
- Bodysuit
- Skirt
- Petticoat
- Overlay (Piece that Goes Around Neck)
- Gauntlets (Arm Pieces)
- Sleeves (when appropriate)
- Belt
- Boots
- Hat
The uniform should be cared for in the following manner:
- Bodysuits, sleeves, skirts and petticoats should be hand washed in mild laundry detergent and hung to dry. Woolite is not preferred, since it tends to coat the sequins. Liquid Tide works well. Remember, NO DRYING IN THE DRYER, NO PRODUCTS CONTAINING BLEACH and NO DRY CLEANING. The dry cleaning process takes all color out of the sequins.
- Overlay and Gauntlets should be spot cleaned with a very soft bristled toothbrush with mild laundry detergent.
- Fringe, if stained with makeup or other substances can be rinsed out with your fingers in mild laundry detergent
- Boots should be cleaned with Ajax or Comet Cleanser, or if very soiled may be polished with White Sneaker Polish. Ms. Tek has this in her office for emergencies. For kick routines, check the bottom of the boots and clean with cleanser if necessary
- Hats may be spot cleaned with a damp towel and freshened up with Baby Powder
