Mr. Bingaman was born in West Monroe, Louisiana, and started playing the drums at age five. He played the Quads in high school where he also won many awards in track and field, and cross country. Mr. Bingaman chose to pursue a degree in music education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe because he loves music and enjoys teaching and performing. He specializes in snare, tenors, drum set, and timpani. Even though he is only in his first year as an educator, he comes to Allen well prepared. He was named in Who’s Who Among American Students both in high school and college, he is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, he is a Percussive Arts Society National Tenor Champion, and a Northeast Louisiana Drum WAR Champion. He also plays with the Monroe Symphony and the Allen Symphony. Mr. Bingaman is blessed with a great family. His mother Nora Bingaman still lives in Monroe, and his brother Pierre Bingaman lives in Kansas City. His close family also includes his grandfather, Robert Bingaman, and two grandmothers, Sallie Bingaman and Teriece Cyrus. In his spare time he enjoys movies and wrestling and stepping with his fraternity. (He was the Step Master.) We welcome him to Allen and the Escadrille and congratulate him on already doing a BANG-Up job
